Any Advice

Jack the front of the car up and spin the wheel by hand. Listen for any noises coming from the bearing. Also take the wheel in your left and right hands and see if there is any play in it. Are the wheel nuts tight?. Have a look behind the wheel and see how is left on the brake pads make sure they are not low and down to their minimum. Check the suspension over as well for any signs of wear.

Agreed sounds like a bearing on its way, check for play when its jacked in the air. Other points to check are early signs of wear on ANY part of the suspension, also roll bar links which like to snap on some cars and also bushes on their way out, does the car feel sloppy when changing direction ? does it brake in a straight line ?
