Desert Conflict Mod For Bf2

I play this often and love it. Its not really finished as a full mod but is worth the dl. Its based mainly in the desert with loads of tanks, artillery and planes.

The game has the A10 thunderbolt on one map in the rotation.

I was looking for details on this aircraft and came across this pic of the main gun.

I never realised it was so big. The whole aircraft is just a big gun carriage.

Well I found it interesting.

The A-10 is a great bit of kit and can take some real damage before it'll fall outta the sky as most of the controls are duplicated.

The big thing about the main gun is it has to be shor tin bursts as prolonged firing can stall the plane

It was wonderful to see them fly when they were based around here. They just flit from side to side constantly.

"Arseome" as the yanks say.

I just remember how the old desert storm mod was all about air power.
