xfx 6600GT 256 agp

lo all


i have decided to upgrade me gfx

from my ti4200(stop sniggering)

to this from scan 256Mb XFX 6600GT Mem 950 MHz, GPU 500 MHz, 8 Pipes, S-Video/TV Out 2 x DVI-I ect

any way i paid 58 squid for it and im collecting it 2 morrow

can anyone reccomend a driver 4 it as i have heard that the latest have issues

anyone out there got one of these cards or an equivalent

I always use the omega ones for my radeon, always seem far better than the standards. never had an nVidia thp so dont know how they compare :huh:

Sorry m8....only ever loaded latest drivers and I have never had issues

Have a look on <a href="http://www.tweaksrus.com/index.php?opti ... e&Itemid=1" target="_blank">Tweaks R US</a> site for their extreme drivers. Normally quite good and improved image quality or speed. They have a forum as well so you can check feedback.

I don't update mine all the time but use theirs on my 6800GT. Never had a problem yet. :hb:

Yep, using the latest drivers for this without issue - can't say more than that sorry... ;)
Just be a nutter... life becomes much more exciting, and people won't expect anything more of you...
