With Battlefield 3 due in North American stores tomorrow, reviews for DICE's military shooter sequel are starting to appear. <a href="http://www.computerandvideogames.com/32 ... ew-scores/" target="_blank">Computer and Video Games</a> quotes DICE's Patrick Bach saying: "It's always hard when you start a project to set the targets for quality, but that's kind of the only target you can set. That's a Metascore." So far, so good on that front, as the game's Metacritic score currently stands at 93. There are evaluations of the game on <a href="http://www.1up.com/reviews/battlefield-3-PC" target="_blank">1UP</a>, <a href="http://www.ausgamers.com/games/battlefield-3/review/" target="_blank">AusGamers</a>, <a href="http://www.gamearena.com.au/pc/games/ti ... id=5106433" target="_blank">BigPond GameArena</a>, <a href="http://www.computerandvideogames.com/32 ... -3-review/" target="_blank">Computer and Video Games</a>, <a href="http://www.gameinformer.com/games/battl ... eview.aspx" target="_blank">GameInformer</a>, <a href="http://www.gamereactor.se/recensioner/2 ... lefield+3/" target="_blank">Gamereactor Sverige</a> (in Swedish), <a href="http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/battlefield-3/1210517p1.html" target="_blank">GameSpy</a>, <a href="http://www.gamestar.de/spiele/battlefie ... 61539.html" target="_blank">GameStar.de</a> (in German), <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/video/pc-re ... d-3/722936" target="_blank">GameTrailers</a>, <a href="http://pc.ign.com/articles/121/1210387p1.html" target="_blank">IGN</a>, and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/10/24/battl ... ore-bonus/" target="_blank">Joystiq</a>.

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->(As an aside for the tech-heads, we were able to play BF3 at a steady 30+fps on an i5 750 overlocked to 4.1GHz, 4Gb of DDR3 PC3-12800C7 1600MHz Dual Channel RAM and a Radeon HD 6850 with Catalyst driver set 11.9 with all settings on Ultra plus full antialiasing and anisotropic filtering with ambient occlusion set to HBAO but Vsync off. In other words, damn-near full eye candy. Not bad for a machine that's powerful but hardly bleeding-edge. Considering that BF3 looks significantly more impressive than any other game we've played on our rig this year - Witcher 2 arguably aside - that's all credit to DICE).

Yeah, but it's just the same kinda gaming really. Tired of the BF series... need something to not only challenge my system, but also my imagination
Just be a nutter... life becomes much more exciting, and people won't expect anything more of you...
