Van battery booster

Post by Phant0m »

Hello

I went to start our motorhome last night and the battery is dead. I was then looking to purchase a battery booster pack but reviews aren't good.

Does anyone have one or experienced in using one and can recommend?

The van is 1.7 diesel Peugeot engine.

Not better off running a charger to it?

I have similar problem with my truck atm as with working from home I just don't drive anywhere. I'm going to get a charger and just run a power lead out side somehow.

if it's just to keep it topped up then it can't hurt

Suppose it really just depends on how long you leave it and how much load there is just leaving it sat

Yea I am looking at fitting a solar panel with a dual controller one to charge leisure battery and other to trickle charge the van battery but it's a bit of work to do it.

I have bought a tacklite booster just incase I need it for now.
