New Monitor

Got me one of <a href="http://www.asus.com/Display/LCD_Monitors/VE278Q/" target="_blank">these</a> on me desk now. 27" is large but so far it is great. Very bright out the box, dimmed to 50% is about right. I was worried about viewing angles but ingame and watching movies it is virtually the same as my pva screen. Oh did I say it was huge?

No idea what the speakers are like, I will never use them. 2ms response time and vga, dvi, displayport. Picture in picture like a telly too.

Driving it very nicely with my Asus ATI Radeon HD 5850 DirectCU 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card.

It was a bargain on OCUK for this week only price which was very good. Now it is £299.99. 3yr onsite warranty.

It aint really flash, consider the cost over 3 years so that is about £7 a month.
