Just read this article about Parents being fined £1000.00 for taking their children on a week's holiday to Greece during term time. Do any of you have children that are still at school? Are all schools like this? Who do they think children belong to these days? Sent a shiver down my spine when I read this...
Just be a nutter... life becomes much more exciting, and people won't expect anything more of you...

All 3 kids at school and I've been told that it's a £60 fine to take them out during school time, unless they've got a decent reason.

This also goes for truancy as well weeks off for holidays etc..
Can't afford to go anywhere anyways...

I liked the fact a parent sent a letter to the school fining them for being on strike, fair play imho...
