Rhubarb's edge provides a nice contrast to the sweetness of the custard and crumble... adding to the flavour. Rhubarb Crumble with Custard is the way to go. I know some other people who prefer apple and they also put strawberry jam on their toast instead of marmalade... I'm not even going to go down that road of whether they like their toasted bread brown or white, as I think we all know what the choice of one of those types of bread is a clear indication of... :)

...'ang on, did he just say he didn't like custard? How can you not like custard? Is this related to some childhood trauma?

What I didn't want to say was I found your rhetoric both offensive and rude showing a complete lack of respect for certain members of GSV, but you didn't seem to get the hint.

Anyway what about these damn reactors.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMXvpWoH ... ded#at=154" target="_blank">Just about sums it up.</a>

One person I follow said it is fear of radiation that is more damaging than the radiation itself, and that there is a tptb and media led campaign to discredit and destroy the Japanese society and power as a nation. Something to do with the Japanese having about 5 trillion dollars tied up in the states and the americans want it badly.

@Thane - Myo is always up for a robust debate.

@Nelly - this will all be brushed under the carpet and people will forget what has happened. Where all Governments are concerned, the majority of the populace have a Stockholm syndrome that is very hard to comprehend to those outside the box.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/fairewindse ... qs-fh79suI" target="_blank">Arnie Gunderson</a> of Fairwinds Associates tells us the low down on Fukushima situation. Imagine the worst case scenario and double it.

Another interview with Arnie Gunderson in mp3 or text. Not a good word to be said about the situation.

There's not really a good word to be said about <a href="http://atomicinsights.com/2011/02/arnie ... usted.html" target="_blank">Arnie Gunderson</a> tbh...

Well I do not agree with that article Claw and will continue to trust the words of Arnie Gunderson for the time being. He seems perfectly genuine to me.

Historically speaking we have to be cautious about what we hear from those with a vested interested, but we also need to be cautious about those who are just speculating because of their not being there and not having first hand facts.

There is no doubt about it, the problem in Japan at the moment is very serious. :(

I think the problem will still be there after we are long gone. Three Mile Island, Chernobyl, Fukushima. All serious and the only solution is to cover the spill in boron and lead then build a huge metal and concrete shed over it and perhaps nobody will notice. The whole idea of nuclear anything is just pandoras box, there is no clean nuclear anything. The solution is simple, just make things that do not use electrickery.
