MS has the Edge
I'm finding that I'm using Edge much more than Chrome these days. Seems to be faster, and with the latest update allowing for extensions such as Ad Block, it runs very smoothly.

Re: No Mans Sky
Everything I've seen and read about it makes me want it. It's going to involve some big upgrades though. As for bugs, having spent years with the Battlefield genre I've developed a strong tolerance for them, or have been conditioned to accept them, whatever way you want to look at it. Seems there ar...

The Revenant
Watched The Revenant last night. I think I spoiled it for myself by my listening to the hype about it. More than anything my feeling is that it was poorly edited. Lots of dramatic sequences that happened in a very segmented manner.

Sugared Drinks Tax
Seriously? When I was a kid sweets and Cola were a staple diet and I never became a bloater, ever. None of the grandchildren are bloaters either. I don't get the logic of this unless it's a tax revenue thing. The problem lies at the feet of bad parents or bad parenting depending on how you look at i...

3D Printers
Has anyone had a play with any particular model 3D Printers? l, . thought they were a long way away from home use, but then the Mrs spotted the Da Vinci Junior 1.0 being sold for about £300.00. The review for it doesn't make it shine, but it's positive all the same. http://www.digitalartsonline.co.u...

Re: The Division
Had a look at a vid they've released. One of the missions made me chuckle... "Neutralize Hostile Cleaners". The storyline looks interesting, but those little diamond shaped notifiers and lines that appear make it look, well, more like an exercise in geometry. The graphics look really...

Re: Windows 10 for 20 quid
The freebie version of Win 10 expires the end of July'ish 2016. The advantage to buying a license in this way is for those who have a retail (boxed version) of Windows 7/8(.1) or just the OEM installation of those versions, and have followed the free upgrade path. At the end of the day, the marketin...

Re: SSD Drives
That was an inspiring review and experiment... and they all soldiered through hundreds of terabytes of torture. That really, really surprised me.
So, what SSD's have you got? I was thinking of getting some 256GB Samsung drives I've seen online.

SSD Drives
How many SSD drives have you been through? I've been checking them out by reading up stuff on them. In the past I've never really trusted them for long-term use and so has little use for them. But reading the article below was inspiring and that's why I'm asking about your experience with them and t...

Link Bubble
This browser, Link Bubble, is awesomely fast and innovative. If you're flicking between different apps as well as the 'net then you won't get a faster alternative. When you minimise it Link Bubble will remain on top of any apps you have open as a small bubble... tap on it and the browser opens immed...

Tor Browser
This is the Tor Browser for Windows, great for online anonymity.

For Android you need Orbot and then I'd personally recommend InBrowser by TomPod Apps. Both of these are available on Google Play.
