Cheers guys.

Tending now to be more practical and folding top MX5 looks a goer...might even justify a new 'un. 2 litre is a must if I am ever to drive it though.

Last Saturday was the 2nd anniversary of Jase's loss. I was lucky enough to be able to get down to Plymouth for the weekend to see Jo and the kids. As you can imagine, memories are ever present, especially on occassions such as birthdays, anniversaries, Fathers Days etc. However, they are all doing ...

Thanks Guys...I'd forgotten that my sister-in-law does a lot of this stuff and first thing she said was "Codecs". I'll try that first. Then she said, forget pinnacle and use Windows Movie Maker for simple stuff. She user Adobe Premier . She also said some software just dont like AVI...

A good friend of mine is expecting me to wave a magic wand and solve his problem with editing video files. I guess because I work in IT he thinks I am an expert at everything! (Just because I can speak Italian, doesn't mean I can translate Russian). Anyway - He has a copy of Pinnacle Studio 8 and ha...

Just looked at my Yamaha and its the DSP-AX750SE. Yeah speakers are the expensive bit....cost around £800 a few years back. In truth I would prefer better quality for music, but I just don't sit down and listen nowadays.

I have AV amp set-up. Some Big Yamaha I bought a couple of years back and 5.1 A&E speakers - Floor standing fronts, bookshelf surrounds, centre and active sub. It shakes the room :) Not cheap, but I always been into Hi-Fi. Amp is video switching which can be nice, but not so good now that connec...

Oooo...looks rather technical. Bought myself a new TV last week and it has all sorts of gizmos in it. I can stream content direct from my PC (DNLA or something) or any other device on my network. I can also get basic content (news, weather etc) direct from the internet. All I wanted was a bigger scr...

Had a quick look, as the whole subject of "Blogs" baffles me. Modern equivalent of going down the pub and having to listen to the "pub bore" I guess? With respect of course, Bob ;) I certainly dont see why they are so popular, but then again I guess it must be me, as I always see...
